I lamed out and skipped Beer-Bike again this year. In my defense, I am attempting to get a conference paper out in three weeks, but the main reason I don’t go is that I don’t really know anybody associated with the event anymore, so it’s kind of a depressing thing to go to. It’s not Beer-Bike that I remember—full of friends, and excitement, and water balloons.

That’s why it’s so much fun to flip through all the photos tagged “beerbike” over on Flickr: These were taken from the perspective of current undergraduates, so that energy is present in every frame. I’m collecting Beer-Bike sets over on beerbike.com, to keep track of all the users who have created photo rolls out of their raceday photos. If you spot any others, let me know, and I’ll add ’em.
