NYT Mag gives comix a big wet kiss
July 10th, 2004
OK, one more comix link before I go to bed: “Not
Funnies” in the NYT Magazine asserts that, in the 21st century,
comics are to novels what, in the 19th century, novels were to poetry
and plays. That is to say, a step forward in the evolution of popular
literature. (Points off for misspelling Scott McCloud’s name.
Fractional points restored for a particularly Freudian typo (“McLoud”).)
