This is just weird —
Microsoft issued an apology today for swastika characters in an Office symbol font. The press
release also promises a utility that will excise the characters from an
Office installation. Historically, of course, the bent quaternion cross
is an ancient symbol for life; any positive (or neutral) significance it
may have had for civilization, however, has been utterly destroyed by
the events of the twentieth century, and so I must ask:
seriously, how did this slip by?
