Hey, don’t miss the Battlestar Galactica remake miniseries next
week. Staunch fans of the cult ’78 hit seem to hate it, but Wired
takes a look with fresh eyes and, well, doesn’t hate it (to
borrow a friend’s phrase).

PS:
I lurve the “reality space” aesthetic; it’s the
sole saving grace of CGI trainwreck Wing Commander (note the
mangled bodies of Freddie Prinze Jr., Matthew Lillard, and — most
tragically — David Suchet trapped under the debris of this film).

PPS: Galactica 2.0 was “co-produced and co-written by Ronald
D. Moore (also co-executive producer of the HBO series
Carnivale).” I am much encouraged by these words.
