Moving to Texas: the beginning

Here we go again
Things have been pretty quiet around dsandler.org recently.
That’s because things are very much not quiet around the apartment as
we prepare to leave California after almost three years.
I did a lousy job of blogging our move out here; this
time around, the move comes in two stages—first, drive with Erin to
Houston (departing 3/12) so she can start her new job at Rice, and then shuttle back
alone for another three weeks in the Bay Area. Part Two will start on or
around 4/11—more news on that later.
Watch the icon in the sidebar (and, of course, this
very space) starting Wednesday.
