So it looks like Apple
has disabled 3d-party menu extras in Jaguar. This really pisses me
off, of course, since I was working on a kick-ass menu extra. I’ll have
to work around it, and that does not make me happy, because the
workaround won’t have all the functionality of the Apple menu extras
(you won’t, for instance, be able to drag the workaround version to any
position on the menubar; it will be required to occupy the leftmost
position).
