Richard Binder reviews the Hero 100
英雄
Richard Binder, expert
fountain pen nib grinder and all-around vintage pen know-it-all, writes
a review
of the Hero 100 fountain pen. He finds it in every way a modern
match for the classic Parker
“51″, which is an astonishing feat for any pen, especially one of
modern manufacture. According to the article, the Hero pen factory
occupies an old (pre-PRC) Parker pen factory, so the 100 series and the “51″
are related by blood as well as by looks. “The Hero 100 is the modern
pen I had been waiting to fall in love with. I’d almost say it’s a
vintage ‘51′ in modern dress.”
