It was a montage of scenes just like the end of the new Return of the Jedi. All the races of the galaxy celebrated in culturally appropriate ways when they heard that Garfield had been pulled from the LA Times.

And make no mistake, Wiley Miller is talking about Scott Kurtz, here. He’s been very vocal about Kurtz’s plan for newspaper inclusion and extremely dismissive about the ability for webcartoonists to make a living or build a following based largely on their online readership.
