After a tenure of eight or so years, I am forced to leave my old
domain, stardot.com.

The domain was registered in 1994 or so by Hui-Hui Hu, local prodigy and
troublemaker, and a friend of mine from MBHS. The main server (at the time,
lucidity.stardot.com) became the new high-speed mirror of Captain Jim, which I had recently made into one of the
very first webcomics. (Eventually, CJ moved off of
goober.mbhs.edu altogether, and found a permanent home at
obsidian.stardot.com.)

Hui-hui eventually spun stardot (or *. — as it was
never called) into a consulting business for political interest groups
and candidates, and since leaving the enterprise to pursue other matters
(and found other companies) it was acquired by NetCapitol, which was then
acquired by VoteNet.

I’ve been a “guest” all this time, trying to helpfully point out system
improvements where appropriate, and otherwise not get in the way of the
other functions of the server. But that time has come to an end.

So, update your address books! dsandler.org is the
place to be, now and for the foreseeable future.
