Random: “Battle
for Binx”, from the MBHS student
paper, Silver Chips, 1999. I remember hearing about this when
it happened; I was in the middle of my freshman year at Rice. [“Binx”
was (and still is) the main computer server at Blair, which a few of us put
together in 1998 to remove the county’s growing IT burden from “goober”,
our venerable RS-6000 workstation. “Binx” also happens to be the name of a
character introduced in issue 67, page 6 of Captain
