On Monday, Disney
closed its 2D animation studio in Florida. A few of the employees
will be relocated to Disney’s Burbank studio, but not many. Apparently
all of them are being trained in 3D animation techniques; perhaps this
is a hedge against Pixar’s
increasing demands.
