I can only conclude that, during the annual Beer-Bike race, the entire western half
of the Rice University campus was destroyed in a freak water-balloon
accident. Otherwise there’s no way to
account for the total lack of race results available online. I wasn’t
able to make it, so I don’t know first-hand, and the Rice Program
Council Beer-Bike page (more official, less pretty) is conspicuously
devoid of final standings. None of the residential colleges has any
information either. Ergo, the “blow’d-up” hypothesis stated
above. Can someone prove me wrong? (If so, I’ll post the results to
beerbike.com and we can all enjoy.)
