Mac OS X “Tiger”: Menu Barf
July 14th, 2004
Am I the only one who thinks the blue-background Apple and Spotlight
menus, at opposite ends of the previewed OS 10.3 “Tiger” menu bar, give
the appearance of being, well, clicked-upon?
Coloring a menu
header blue and inverting the icon or text underneath is how Apple has
(for the last ten years) shown an active menu, which is a pending
action. To see a screen that seems to have not one but two
perpetually pending actions tingles my spider-sense, and in a Very Bad
Way.
