Almost everyone at the office<br \/>\nhas installed it already.  I&#8217;m tempted to force it on my<br \/>\nfather-in-law and brother-in-law, mostly because it makes<br \/>\ndead-simple the harrowing task of burning a CD.  (Seriously,<br \/>\nhave you ever <em>used<\/em> MusicMatch Jukebox?  It&#8217;s impossible<br \/>\nto figure out which of the eight little blue windows you need to<br \/>\nopen, in which order, to find the correct <em>icon<\/em> (nope,<br \/>\nno menu item equivalent) to burn a CD.)\n<\/p>\n<p>\nI&#8217;m listening to my music collection, stored on my G4 iMac, from my<br \/>\nAthlon work machine.  Even the AACs.  It&#8217;s wonderful.  Just think,<br \/>\nWindows users will soon be sharing their playlists<br \/>\neffortlessly across the house\/office\/dorm.  It&#8217;s clear that Apple<br \/>\nengineers have been working <em>hard<\/em> on this, and I can&#8217;t see at<br \/>\nthis point how it might not come back to them in spades.  It&#8217;s a home<br \/>\nrun.\n<\/p>\n<p>\nOh, yeah, and, just in case you thought the <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/itunes\/store\/\">iTunes Music Store<\/a> had run<br \/>\nout of steam, well, Apple&#8217;s <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/pr\/library\/2003\/oct\/16pepsi.html\">giving away 100<br \/>\nmillion free songs<\/a> (!) in<br \/>\nconjunction with Pepsi products next year.  And they&#8217;re steadily<br \/>\naccumulating titles, features (like &#8220;allowances&#8221; for kids, and gift<br \/>\ncertificates).  Oh, and the <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ipod\/\">iPod<\/a> has some new <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\/ipod\/accessories.html\">accessories<\/a> as<br \/>\nwell, including a flash-memory reader.
