No more Clies for the US market

“Today Sony announced that it will no longer develop and sell Clie
handheld models to the United States market, at least for the
foreseeable future.”
Update: InfoSync has a slightly meatier
analysis of the announcement. “Current CLIE models include the Sony CLIE
PEG-TJ27, PEG-TJ37 and PEG-TH55, all of which are available in both Europe and
North America, and for which Sony will honour warrantee guarantees and
continue to offer ‘required’ software updates.”
