3 * WILL RICE COLLEGE (Grease)
|
|
SHON AGARWAL '99
|
The hierarchy of power at Rice University goes something like this:
(1) Malcolm Gillis, (2) Zen Camacho, (3) Shon Agarwal. Shon is on more
committees, and is the president of more clubs than any other student at
Rice. Somehow, at the same time, she is a Bioc/Mana major and is being
recruited by all the top medical schools in the country. On top of that,
she is super friendly, sweet, leader of a gang (the divali knights), not
defensive at all, and she parties like something out of "Animal House."
In her spare time, she thought about sleeping once, but decided to travel
to a third world country to save the poor instead. She figured sleep
would be a waste of her time. Shon is what all pre-meds wish that they
were, what all SEs pretend that they are, and what all academs read
about. You might be saying to yourself, "Wow, whoever is writing this
must be obsessed with Shon." Well, I am. I would give up oxygen before I
would give up sweet lovin' from Shon.

DEB FORST '00
|
In high school back in New Jersey, Deb was Miss Popularity. She was the
head of the Prom Committee and the early favorite for Prom Queen.
Everything seemed to be going her way, until she was miraculously upset by
some "out of this world" new student that wasn't even nominated. She
couldn't handle the shame so she left New Jersey for Houston to start her
life anew. Now she is the fun-loving, horseback riding, country music
listening, male heartbreaking, outer-loop running, beautiful baby we all
know and love today. Closing words of advice--don't mention the striking
resemblance between her and Roger Borchers; it's kind of a sore spot
between the two of them.

MIKE McCLINTOCK '99
|
When Mike was a little boy, his greatest goal was to be at the
center of attention. Armed with his dashing good looks and
Cheshire-cat grin, he landed the role of Ben Seaver on "Growing
Pains." When he realized that Kirk Cameron was the marquee
star, he left acting in a fit of jealousy. Driven by his
maniacal desire to be noticed, he wandered from California to
Minnesota to Oregon, trying his hand at everything from lap
dancing to crop-whipping horses. He settled on EE at Rice
University, where he could best utilize his talents for making
wire jewelry and shocking himself. Of course, this profession
afforded no chance for campus-wide recognition, so Mike
promptly immersed himself in college life, instilling his
influence in the realms of academics, sports, and social
events. His friendliness and "aw shucks" attitude soon won
over the hearts of Ricefolk everywhere. His mission completed
and desire satiated, Mike can now be found basking in the glow
of admiration from his La-Z-Boy chair.
