Banned again.

Bah. Just posted a comment to this reddit thread about e-voting and noticed that my comment started at +0 instead of +1; on a hunch, I logged out and reloaded the page, and, sure enough, I’m banned from reddit again.

Apparently there’s only one thing that is currently theorized to merit the reddit death penalty, and I swear, I didn’t do it! (I even own a copy of Hackers and Painters…)

    Hi, it looks like I’ve been 0-point-banned again. I was unbanned for a brief period of time (I had a few comments that were visible to other readers) and now I’m back in a bizarre Camus-esque invisible hell. :)

    I don’t post a lot of stories, but I do like to participate in the comments, and it sucks that I can’t anymore.

    If you could restore my account, that would be excellent. If you could tell me how to avoid this in the future (I am a CS graduate student, not a spammer!) that would be more excellent still.

    Really sorry about that. It should now be fixed.

    Not sure how it happened either, but I suspect you got caught up in the bug that was flagging harmless humans (many of whom were probably also friendly CS grad students) along with real spammers.

    plz let me know if you find yourself back in a bizarre Camus-esque invisible hell.
