Blackouts.
April 17th, 2006
I left California so I wouldn’t have to deal with this crap. Update 4/18: More blackouts are possible today, as the temperatures will again be above normal (91° forecast, still below the record for today) and power generation plants are still down for maintenance.

I don’t know, it’s a little satisfying seeing this happening to the state that was causing the California blackouts. :p

hey does that spam filter work? we need one on criticalbeatdowns– everything we get is spam thesedays. anyway, re houston blackouts: can’t yall just, like, use extra oil from the oilfields or something?

Yeah, I use WordVerify for interactive comments (kills 99% of spammers since they look for low-hanging fruit), and our very own TrackBack Validator (kills 100% of TrackBack spams—seriously).

if you move to within like 4 blocks (or something like that) of a hospital, they won’t black you out on purpose, ever. I learned this during the California blackouts:)
