A recent Slashdot comment uses this quote (from Aldous Huxley, regarding the largely-unchanged 1967 edition of Brave New World) to criticise George Lucas’ compulsion to tweak, tamper, obscure, and ultimately efface his original creation simply because he doesn’t like it anymore.
I was inspired to add the quote to my Captain Jim Comics memorial, for obvious reasons.
