[13:40] <darryl> apparently the primary and *backup* routers just two hops away from us got hit by the Cisco exploit
[13:21] * trillian just had a very crazy encounter with a chevy suburban
[13:22] <trillian> this suburban wanted to switch into my lane without checking his blind spot
[13:22] <ctate> par for the course, with SUV drivers
[13:22] <trillian> and i obviously honk and signal but still he managed to hit my front bumper
[13:23] <trillian> which shouldn’t have been that much, given that afterwards i didn’t see much wrong except the paint come off
[13:23] <trillian> the scary part was,
[13:23] <trillian> when he hit me, my little car went careening from the middle lane of the high way to the service lane all the way on the left
[13:23] * trillian thanks someon that no cars were in those lanes
[13:24] <dsandler> this has been another episode of “conservation of momentum”
[12:42] * darryl wonders where his nifty National Geographic map of California is…
[12:43] <dsandler> sliding into the ocean
[12:43] <laz> Heehee.
[12:44] <daveb> heh. that reminds me of the lady that was all too eager to tell me that California was going into the ocean, so I better not
take that job at Be.
[12:44] <laz> Haahaa!
[12:44] <laz> Yeah, because Be was going to outlast the California coast.
