favorite track from Whiplash, “Tomorrow”, was “written to stop a
very close friend from jumping off a roof.” Appropriate.

Listening to Getting
Away With It … Live, I occasioned to stop by AMG and find out
where some of these new tracks came from. Turns out they came from the
two UK-only studio albums released since 1997’s Whiplash, and
they’re apparently fabulous:
James’ tenth makes you wonder what all the fuss over U2 and R.E.M.’s
rebirths are about. [AMG]
(Not surprisingly, I’ve personally made quite a fuss over All That You
Can’t Leave Behind and Reveal.)
