The Sopranos season 4, episode 5
Original air date: October 13, 2002

Adriana's been flipped by the FBI, and she's on edge every time she's even around Christopher. So when Tony and Silvio come into the Crazy Horse (her club), she's terrified. She imagines that they know what's going on and has Tony-style daydreams that Tony's on his cell phone talking about informants (he's really talking to Carmela about their financial planning issues, which she's still pushing). Adriana then gets really nervous when she sees Christopher and Furio bring a guy to the warehouse next door to her club and beat him up. Worst of all, Tony, Ralphie and others start using her office to conduct business.

Adriana gets a phone call from the FBI while she's at the salon, telling her to meet them at a bakery to exchange information. She meets them, and Agent Harris informs her that she's being handed over to another agent, not Danielle. Adriana learns from them for the first time that the people she thought were in the Witness Protection Program have actually been killed by the Soprano family: Pussy Bompansiero and [her uncle] Ritchie Aprile. The agents push her to start collecting more information, because half the time she doesn't even know where Christopher is, let alone what's happening with the Sopranos. They encourage her to spend more time with the family, which prompts to run to the bathroom. She proceeds to find any excuse to stay away from the Soprano house, which angers Christopher. He sees Tony's invitations as evidence that he's moving up in the world and wants to spend as much time with the Sopranos as they're willing to spend with him.

Janice is still putting the moves on Bobby Baccalieri and gets jealous when she sees Mikey Palmice's widow bringing him a chicken marsala. Janice starts going through the casseroles in Bobby's freezer after JoJo Palmice leaves and comes across the last ziti that Karen made before she died. She then takes JoJo's chicken to Uncle Junior, who gets upset that Bobby was at home rather than out taking care of Junior's business. Janice warns Bobby that he has to keep working, so he goes out to meet a union leader in a bar to influence his vote in the upcoming union elections. It's the first time we've seen Bobby in a "heavy" role, as he warns the guy that to vote for [insert the wrong guy's name] is like putting a bullet in his head. When Bobby follows up with Junior, they get to talking about how Janice has been taking care of Bobby's family. Junior recognizes the recipe for lasagna that Janice used and tells Bobby that it's Carmela's recipe. Bobby doesn't want to listen.

In the meantime, Tony's been spending time with Ralphie and his horse. The horse has been losing, so Tony advises that they hold the horse back at the begining of the race to save some steam for the last part. The horse trainer disagrees, but when the horse stumbles out of the gate and yet wins in the end, Ralphie starts giving Tony part of his winnings. Tony, being strapped for cash, likes this arrangement and stands implicitly demanding a bigger share of the earnings at the end of each race.

Ralphie's got the horse set up under his housekeeper's name, presumably for tax purposes, so it's she who calls Ralphie in the middle of the night when the horse is sick. Ralphie's ticked off that Tony's collecting winnings but doing nothing to help house the horse, so he tells her to call Tony instead. Tony goes down to the stable where the vet is refusing to take care of the horse until he's paid.

Carmela continues to pressure Tony about the estate planning that her cousin Brian has been drawing up for her. Tony's accountant advises him that most of what Brian is advising is fine, but the life insurance trust isn't a good move: after Tony's death, it provides a good tax advantage for Carmela, but in the meantime, if anything should happen (e.g., divorce), it's irrevocable. The accountant suggests a living trust instead, which can be changed. Tony decides to sign all the papers except the life insurance trust, which makes Carmela furious. Moreover, he tells her he "gave [her] two out of three," which really pisses her off: "You gave me two out of three?" And they're back to not speaking again.

Adriana finally cracks and gives the Feds some information about Patsy Parisi and the suits he boosts. After which, she dips into Christopher's heroin stash and shoots up. Janice goes through Bobby's freezer again to find dinner and comes across the ziti again. She asks Bobby if she can make it, and he says he's not ready yet.
