The Sopranos season 4, episode 11
Original air date: November 17, 2002

Tony tells Dr. Melfi that he's not interested in continuing his therapy anymore. She urges him to reconsider, even telling him to at least come one more session so they can reach a real conclusion, but he's disappointed with the perceived lack of progress he's made. As soon as he leaves, she calls her shrink to say, "Guess who's no longer my patient."

Carmine and Johnny Sack are moving in on the HUD scam that Tony perpetrated several weeks ago. Tony rebuffed Johnny when he asked for a cut of the deal, so Johnny has his guys attack the real estate appraiser who was making favorable appraisals for Tony's crew. Johnny's guys warn the appraiser that he works for Carmine now, and Carmine alone.

Uncle Junior's worried about his trial, and he's right to be: his competency hearing determines that he's competent to assist in his own defense. Bobby tries to cheer him up by reassuring him that they'll tamper with the jury or something.

Speaking of Bobby, his relationship with Janice is escalating, in a number of ways. She's irked by his clinging to Karen's memory, especially when she finds out that on their wedding anniversary, Bobby bought a cake and buried it at Karen's grave. Janice, Bobby and his kids have dinner at Tony's and Carmela orders AJ and Devon to entertain the kids after dinner. They first play with a ouija board to try and contact Karen, and then AJ sets up a seance, with disatrous results: Bobby, Jr. gets really scared and knocks over the card table, yelling. Carmela and the rest of the adults break it up and AJ's severly chastised for traumatizing children that have just lost their mother.

Janice is trying a little trauma of her own. She insists that she and Bobby go out, so they see a movie and are having dinner together. She presses him about Karen's memory, and storms away from him when he asks her to be patient. She then sends an instant message to Bobby, Jr., under an assumed screen name, telling him to look in the cabinet, where he finds ... a ouija board. He and his sister start playing, and when they're completely freaked out and can't sleep, Bobby calls Janice to come over and help calm them down. She helps him put them to bed, then insists on making dinner for the two of them. She opens the freezer and, guess what, takes out the last ziti Karen ever made, the one Bobby's been too distraught to eat for months. He quietly agrees to let Janice warm it up, and they sit down to eat it together.
