In an effort to bring something exciting to the Net, something that
keeps growing and doesn't get stale, something that rips the
flip-scale and trips your bogometer, we present...

Captain Jim: The Online Comic Archives [The High Speed Mirror]

Captain Jim (of no relation to any other hero of science fiction) is
a cult god nee comic book hero nee cartoon character.  Set in the
<really-really-big-number>th century, Captain Jim explores the
cosmos, fixes his hair, deals with his sidekick who looks like a
Duracell battery with eyeballs, and spoofs his own genre.  

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll rack up phone bills and SLIP charges
downloading that next JPEGged page..  The Captain Jim Web Central is
Netscape-savvy (yes, I learned how to make my <hr>'s thicker and my
letters taller)!  It inlines its images (you can, of course, download
them) and allows you to simply flip through the pages of the small
issues with ease.  

Well that's all I'll say (if you read this far I am pleased).  Grab a
bowl of popcorn, shove an old Mozilla vs. Gamera video into the VCR,
and prepare for Captain Jim!
