1 DAVID storms into a small suit room which ends in an airlock chamber.  
    SARA is cranking the doors open manually with an emergency winch.
    
    DAVID: Sara!  Sara, stop!
    
  2 SARA, tears streaming down her face: What do you care? I'll still be 
      out here with my big brother in the Wide Expanses of Space. I'll just be on 
      the other side of your window!
    
    DAVID: Sara.
    
  3 SARA: Fuck you, Dave!  Fuck you and your fucking meshes and your --
  
    DAVID: They've all collapsed.
    
  4 SARA: What?
  
  5 DAVID: They've all collapsed.  Every one.  They're falling apart, and I 
      can't do anything about it. They talked -- they thought -- for one single, 
      shining moment, and that was it.  One day.  Now they're gone.
    
  6 SARA, through tears: But I thought --
  
    DAVID: Yeah, I know.  I don't know what happened.
    
  7 SARA, reclaiming her fire: Well. Well, I'm very sorry for you, David. 
      You can use this next, but please wait until I'm done.

    DAVID: Sara, what is WRONG with you?
    
  8 SARA: What's wrong?  What's WRONG?  Susan.  That's what.  Her answer is 
      no.  Fucking NO, for ever, for eternity, for fucking ever.  I'm 
      already draining her emotions, she says.  Sucking her life away, and 
      I'm not even there, I'm not even giving anything back, and that's not 
      what she wants.  
      
      She says she wants someone who's part of her world, but what she 
      MEANS is she wants someone who's on her planet.  
      
  9 SARA: And if it weren't for you -- for your stupid, stupid thinking 
      machines and your stupid space station and -- and --
      
 10 SARA collapses onto DAVID's chest, fists clenched tightly.  
 
 11 DAVID puts one arm around his sister and his other hand on the back of 
    her head.
    
 12 They stand there as SARA sobs quietly.
